Universal Classic Monsters | Caixa em Blu-ray com os filmes de monstros restaurados é anunciada

Os Blu-rays dos filmes de Steven Spielberg, como Tubarão e E.T., não são o principal lançamento neste centenário da Universal. Todos estavam esperando o estúdio anunciar um box em alta definição com os seus filmes de monstros clássicos, e a confirmação acaba de sair.

Prevista para 2 de outubro nos EUA, com preço sugerido de US$ 159, a caixa Universal Classic Monsters: The Essential Collection reunirá os oito longas-metragens - restaurados para o Blu-ray - que definiram a linhagem de horror da Universal, incluindo o Drácula de 1931 com Bela Lugosi, o Frankenstein do mesmo ano, com Boris Karloff, e a versão original de O Monstro da Lagoa Negra, lançada nos cinemas em 3D em 1954.

O box vem com um livreto de 48 páginas e cartazes originais. Não há mais informações sobre as especificações técnicas, mas espera-se que as legendas disponíveis sejam inglês, francês e espanhol, apenas. Veja os extras de cada filme:
